Power of Pink Bake Sale |
See that? That is my Coco-Caramel Cranberry Almond Popcorn. Otherwise known as the recipe I made at least 4 times in a month last fall because it was that good and the perfect answer to “what to bring” for any snacking occasion.
And now I’m offering up a batch to one lucky bidder in my friend Jen’s annual Power of Pink Bake Sale.
Jen is an old friend of mine and the author of Beantown Baker. Several years ago she made it a goal to walk in the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer in all the cities where it occurs. This summer she’ll take on Chicago. Five down, three to go!
She’s also made it a tradition to host a blogger bake sale on her blog to help raise funds. The way this works is that bloggers agree to donate a specific baked good (you can see the whole list here) . To bid on an item, simply leave a comment with the amount you agree to donate. If you are the highest bidder at the end of the bake sale, you will be contacted to make a donation via PayPal, and your item will be freshly made and shipped to you.
A new bonus this year is that every donation will be matched.
What tickles your taste buds? Is it Puppy Chow Bars? Samoas Rice Krispy Treats? Brown Sugar Pecan Pretzel Toffee? Or my (gluten-free, vegan, refined sugar free) Coco-Caramel Cranberry Almond Popcorn? Be sure to check out the full list of items, and please consider this easy way to participate in a worthy fund and get something sweet out of it. (Pun intended.)
Thank you!

Bid $22 for Popcorn!?

This is a fundraiser; all donations are going to the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer. If you choose to bid, you are making a donation, not just buying a baked good. Sorry if that was not clear.
