It’s Here! My Name in Print! |
Friends, I’ve been keeping something from you since August.
A full week in August where I managed to use my slow cooker(s) about 10 times in 7 days.
This from a girl who supposedly hated the slow cooker and couldn’t fathom eating pot roast and stuffed peppers in the middle of a sweaty heat wave. (Hate’s a strong word. It was actually nice not to have to turn on the stove or oven!)
Look – there she is! Um, there I am!
So what exactly did I contribute to become a “featured contributor”?
Only the BEST-EVER SLOW COOKER MEALS!
Oh man. They make my Thai Chicken Tacos look much better than I could!
Lamb and Mushroom Barley Risotto.
Moroccan Spiced Pot Roast with Leeks and Winter Squash.
No, you can’t actually make them at the same time (Mom.) But they do like pretty side-by-side, yes?
All in all, there are deliciously different and clean recipes. If you subscribe, you should already have this in your mailbox. Lucky you! If not, well, get on that, because there’s going to be more of me
And in the meantime, look for this issues on newsstands beginning December 27th.

I have a distinct memory of that week in August! If I remember correctly there was also some really delicious Middle Eastern/Greek food in Astoria that was devoured.

I just got my copy in the mail a few days ago but I haven't had a chance to look through it yet, so of course I had to after seeing this! Congratulations and I can't wait to try some of these yummy slow-cooker meals!!
