Yay for guest posts. I love making granola because it is such a blank canvas for so many flavors. I've been meaning to make a version with milk chocolate, bananas and a little curry powder for good measure.I also owe you an email. The brisket recipe you gave me was absolutely perfect. I still need a little practice with my carving skills but the flavor was amazing – really earthy, nice hint of spice, not to mention perfectly sweet and savory. Thanks for both of your e-mails. I wanted to let you know how much I appreciated them even though I am delinquent in responding.

Hmmm…I thought I just commented but not sure where it went.  (So feel free to delete any duplicates!)  I was saying that I love granola because it's such an easy canvas for so many flavors. That and thank you for the brisket recipe.  I owe you two e-mails (Thank you for the other one BTW.) now.  It turned out absolutely fantastic and I loved the combination of flavors. My carving skills definitely still need some work but the meat itself was delicious.

So glad it worked out well! (Just saw your other comment in blogger. For some reason DISQUS is weird sometimes and doesn't catch everything… wish I could figure out why!)
