Summer Peach and Heirloom Tomato Pizza

DSC_2066

If you’re in my neck of the woods (New England) the odds are good that you’re going apple picking today (if you’re anywhere else, well, you tell me!)

But may I interrupt this first tease of crisp fall air to remind you that peaches and tomatoes are still here, gorgeous and ripe and ready to be enjoyed? Don’t let them go just yet. Visit the Daily Burn Life Blog to catch my recent guest post, where I’m gushing about these seasonal picks and sharing my recipe for Summer Peach and Heirloom Tomato Pizza, with crumbled blue cheese and a balsamic reduction.  I hope you’ll love it!

We have totally thought about going apple picking today!  Tis the season, I suppose…but I do still have a few tomatoes growing out back!  Looks great.

at the market yesterday, I was told that peaches may not be available next week. sad…good thing I bought a bunch of them yesterday! This pizza looks great – peaches and tomatoes are a great combo and I love the addition of blue cheese

Love this! The peaches are getting a bit slim but they are still so good. I love anything that combines sweet with salty so this recipe is right up my alley. (I so scoped it out on the DBL blog =) Blue cheese and peaches are a great combo. Looks awesome girl!

We're missing out on apple picking this year, so I'm trying to suck the last out of summer berries as consolation.

Fruit on pizza? Never thought of that. Although I love squash on them. Heck, doesn't matter – if it's pizza and there's crust, sauce and cheese – I'll eat it 🙂

Oh yes, the pumpkin & apples are here, I'm so happy to fully embrace the new harvest and fall, I just love Fall, the foliage, the food, the rich and sweetness of pumpkin. Anyway, I love this, I have not been apple picking since I was a child with family.
