Updated Recipe Index

Good morning! Just wanted to put up a quick post letting you know that I have updated the Recipe Index tab. I noticed that this page had been getting a lot of views lately, which was kind of embarrassing given its near-disastrous state. I’ve done a total re-haul, turning it into something much more organized and user-friendly (and more aesthetically-pleasing, if I may toot my own horn.) Now, new visitors (welcome!) should have a much easier time getting a taste of Cara’s Cravings, and you long-time followers can easily find your old favorites.

“What’s for dinner?” just got a heck of a lot easier. Happy Thursday, everyone.

Nice work! "Search" is just too much work for recipe searchers! Your lists are great –

I totally needed to do this. Or at lest add it to my must of things I should do but never have the time for.

Hi Cara, I just discovered you today, and so far, I think that's a good thing. I'm 57 years old and have been overweight for probably the last 20 years (since my hysteretomy even though the doctor says that isn't the case). Prior to that time, I never had to worry about my weight. Anyway – I'm watching TV now about how to eat to reduce weight, prevent alzheimers/heart disease/joint pain, etc and happened to stumble across your blog as I was out reading other blogs. I definitely need to do something drastic to get my weight under control, and I know my diet is a large part of the reason I'm fat. I live alone, I don't like to cook, and I tend to just buy fast food. Even if I enjoyed cooking, cooking for one is no fun. I'm not much on sweets, but love carbs (bread, pasta, rice – yum). So I'm going to take the plunge and I'm heading to your recipe index tab to print off some recipes that contain items that will be readily obtainable or may already be in my pantry/fridge/freezer. I can't wait. And thank you. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. And if you would please put something in your posts about 'why' certain items are good for me, or why they're better than others, or what some of the things are, or what they taste like, that would be great (since I'm not familiar with some of the items you use because I don't venture out).
